Yesterday was a day to remember...not only did I sit in 2 1/2 hours of traffic coming home from work...I treated my sweetie to a night of romance at the Mayan theater last night for Valentine's Day, a.k.a. Mexican Wrestling Day. Lucha Va Voom (www.luchavavoom.com) is something that I have been wanting to see for a while. It is a fusion of Mexican wrestling (midgets, drag queens, girls, guys, you name it), and burlesque shows with comedians that provide commentary throughout the show.
My favorite wrestler of the night was "Casandro." He was this tiny little drag queen wrestler, who at the end of his fight (which he won) stated that he was "The only queen of Lucha Va Voom." Priceless.
The Mayan theater is gorgeous and going downtown is always fun, so
if you have the opportunity I highly recommend going. It is held once a month, for 2-3 nights and is a LOT of fun!

2 hours to get from brentwood to korea town... usually a 45 min. commute.
i decided to make use of the ol cell phone. what did we do in traffic before cell phones? i guess listen to the radio...

good luck with crash kitty. i got my cats post-fixin...so im not sure how it all works. i hope she is ok tho! i will say little kitty prayers.
