Helping Those Who Can't Help Themselves

Fitzsu Society, in association with the leading Scandinavian design company for executive wooden toys, Playsam, announces a new and innovative twist on the average “automotive” event, the 1st ever fitzsu society Grand Prix. This inaugural charity event will gather together over fifty members of the international design community to promote an assortment of original aesthetic forms using a simple yet sophisticated design...the Playsam Streamliner Classic Car.

fitzsu society Grand Prix will premiere the one-of-a-kind designer toy cars from the likes of
Yves Behar, Karim Rashid, Michael Graves, James Irvine and world renowned architect, Richard Meier, designer of the prestigious Getty Center in Los Angeles, among others. The fitzsu society Grand Prix is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Fitzsu Society, Los Angeles at 7:00 p.m. PST.

Altogether, this charity event stands to generate upwards of $50,000 US over the course of the year. The cars will be on display and auctioned off at fitzsu society, 7970 Melrose Ave Los Angeles, CA 90046 and will be available for purchase online as well through www.fitzsu.com.

fitzsu society will donate the proceeds raised by this event to the
World Childhood Foundation, an international organization whose mission it is to defend the rights of every child and to promote better living conditions for vulnerable and exploited children at risk all over the world. All participating designers are asked to attend the premiere and live auction, and fitzsu society also welcomes all prominent members of the local, national and international press.
