My good friends at SWINDLE have released their first annual Icons issue. They have been working on this for a long time so it is cool to see it finally come to fruition. The issue includes 50 people, who in one way or another, have redefined their respective fields. Some are household names who have shaped pop culture, and others are counterculture legends (my faves).
Elvira makes her grand appearance in the issue, alongside Chuck D **sidenote**Has anyone heard that almost all the original member of PE are playing in LA in Decmeber?!!! Merry Christmas to me!!
Others are Excene Cervenka from X, Nancy Sinatra, Patricia Fields of Sex and the City fame, and my personal favorite Brendan Mullan, Godfather of the LA Punk scene, author, poet and all around kick-ass guy.
