Trash People

HA Schult is more than an industrial artist, he is a poet. He is one of the first European artists to focus on the world's ecological issues and has championed environmentally conscious art for the past 30 years.

Since 1996 Shult's installation called 'Trash People' composed of 1,000 life-sized people, well, made of trash, has toured the world from the Pyramids of Giza to the Great Wall of China.

"The muses in the history of culture were always very strong emancipated women. They gave wings to the fantasy of their artists."

-- HA Schult
