Old Chola

Not sure if this image would have the same impact in any other city than Los Angeles, but it most certainly has resonated with me. I have seen this sticker posted in many places, most notably all over the walls and cash registers at one of my favorite bars in L.A., Cha Cha Lounge.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce...Old Chola.


So the story goes, I see Old Chola kicking it at Cha Cha. The very next day I'm walking past Black Maria Gallery in Atwater and who do I see peeking out of the front window display but Old Chola, once again. The woman will not leave me alone. Either she is watching my back or I've done something to offend her, in which case I may be laying low for a while. She's one bad mother-shut-yo-mouth!
