HELP A BROTHA (JUSTIN VAN HOY) OUT!

Because any friend of SWINDLE is a friend of mine, I need for you guys to pass this along to anyone and everyone you know who might be willing to do a good deed for someone who really deserves it. Justin Van Hoy, Art Director of SWINDLE Magazine was diagnosed with Leukemia last year. At this point, after exhausting his treatment options, he needs a bone marrow transplant. None of his family members are a match, so that is where we come in.

Tomorrow TUESDAY, JANUARY 6th, 2008 FROM 10AM - 2PM, at the SWINDLE offices, the City of Hope is hosting a bone marrow drive for Justin.

WHAT:
City of Hope will be on hand to do some mouth swabbing. That's all it takes. There will be a consent form you need to fill out prior to getting swabbed. The process is short and sweet and you will be doing your good deed for the day. A great way to kick off 2009!

(Please be aware that by getting tested for Justin, you will be added to the National Bone Marrow Donor Registry. When a volunteer registers as a potential donor, his/her tissue type is listed on the donor file and is compared with the tissue type for all patients in need of a transplant. You can withdraw at any time, but keep in mind that you may be someone's only hope for survival.)
